WORKSHOPS
TO THE BEAT OF A DIFFERENT DRUM: RHYTHM BONANZA
Do you struggle with scenes that just feel like talking heads? Do you talk too much? Too little? Taking on the rhythms and patterns in your speech and movement we will create dynamic and unpredictable scenes to the beat of a new drum.
STITCHED TOGETHER:
A FRANKENSTEIN WORKSHOP
This workshop, led by Liz Hutchman and Amy Carpenter, improvisors use the world of Frankenstein to explore character, point of view, and narrative. Through monster builds, physical play, and emotional storytelling, participants learn hot to transform bold choices into scenes that are both playful and real.

WORKSHOPS

THE MEISNER TECHNIQUE
If you are an improviser who feels stuck in your head instead of being-in-the-moment, this workshop is for you! In this workshop we will use The Meisner Technique, including The Repetition Exercise and living truthfully under heightened Imaginary Circumstances to enhance your improvisational skills. Improvisation growth comes through getting-out-of-your-head and comfort zone.
“Taking Meisner classes provided the greatest breakthrough in my improvisational journey” – Johnny Kalita
Benefits: Building on-stage confidence, being fully present, expanding imagination and emotional range, and owning your artistic voice.
*Disclaimer: The work in this class will put you in high-stakes emotional circumstances that will cause discomfort.

ADAPTIVE REC IMPROV
We are currently working on creating an adaptive recreational program and offering a class specifically for adults who require more accommodations due to moderate to severe disabilities.
The class we will be offering is tailored to the students within it and empowers them to trust their imagination and creativity while also aiding communication skills, utilizing movement, and encouraging teamwork and play.
