The Bridge Improv Theater is excited to offer a 50% scholarship for people identifying as black, indigenous, or person of color. We are committed to increasing diversity in improv.
How do I qualify?

Identify as BIPOC

Be 18 or over

Be interested in learning improv

Be available to attend classes and attend regularly with a willingness to learn (Attendance below 75% may get you removed from the program)

Have never taken a formal Improv 101 class before (drop-ins are ok!)

Agree to follow all Rules & Codes of Conduct at the theater

IMPROV: LEVEL 1
Eight-week, two-hour class covering the basics of improv featuring agreement, discovery, connection, movement, and the relationship-driven scenes.
The LGBTQIA+ Scholarship
The Bridge Improv Theater is excited to institute a scholarship specifically for people identifying as LGBTQIA+. We believe it’s important to provide a safe space for everyone to feel comfortable and accepted on and off stage. We are mindful of representation in our space, amplifying the voices of LGBTQIA+ performers and voices, having no tolerance for discrimination, and making sure our language onstage is inclusive.
